You might ask yourself "What's the catch?", but the truth is - there isn't one. We sit for free because we love boating life and the unique travel experiences that it offers.

In exchange for respectfully caring for your boat and pets, we get to experience life on your boat in a new location. Because we aren't motivated by money, our number priority is to care for you boat and pets while you are away. 

Thomas has a RYA Skipper License which is recognized by charter companies (and more importantly, their insurance carriers) around the world. He has logged over 20,000 nautical miles sailing in the San Francisco Bay, Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean, Mediterranean, Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico and the Great Lakes. He has captained both monohulls and catamarans up to 50 feet.

In addition, Thomas is a retired engineer with degrees in electrical engineering and computer science - perfect for the advanced electrical and electronic systems found on boats today. He is also quite experienced with mechanical systems including engines.
